About the event
LOS OCAMPO COME TO EAST HENDRED!!
This month we welcome the famous Mónica Romero and Omar Ocampo (more commonly known as Los Ocampo) all the way from Buenos Aires, to teach and perform at our monthly Matinee Milonga.
Dance and life partners for almost 40 years, Los Ocampo are legends of Tango worldwide, having performed on the most prestigious international stages. They have spent 20 years in the acclaimed Tango Pasiòn Company, and have participated in many international tango shows including the Carlos Copez Tango Show and Folkloric dance Festivals. They are official adjudicators at the annual International Tango Championships in Argentina and other international competitions.
We are honoured to receive them and we hope you will enjoy learning from them!
PROGRAMME:
3-4pm: Workshop with Los Ocampo.
4-8pm: EXTENDED Milonga with Performance (DJ Dante Culcuy).
As usual, we provide hot drinks and homemade cakes. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks.
PRICES:
Milonga only: £12/£10 student.
Class only: £12/£10 student.
Milonga + Class: £20/£16 student.
There is free parking on premises. Buses run from Oxford via Didcot. Contact us to arrange carpooling.
