Bringing Buenos Aires to you.
A tango getaway...
Welcome to the Lookout, a convenient, affordable location on the South Coast of England. Wake up to a sea view, a delicious breakfast and even... a swim in the sea!
Our intensive weekend courses run all year round. They are designed as micro-versions of our longer Tango holidays abroad, without compromising on hospitality of quality of teaching.
We invite our favourite teachers from all over the world to share their time and expertise with you over the three days. This is the perfect way to delve deeply into their method, ask plenty of questions and receive feedback tailored to you!
What's included:
Intensive Tango training
10 hours of quality Tango tuition from our favourite Maestros, divided into 2h blocks. Our small-group class structure gives you the opportunity to ask questions, request topics and receive personal attention with valuable detailed feedback.
Classes will be held in the village hall, which is a short cycle or walk from the house (weather permitting - car transfer is also an option.)
Leisure
Wake up your body and mind with a guided yoga session every morning.
Afternoons are free so that you can make the most of the daylight to walk or cycle along the coast or take part in group activities. You will have access to kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and more fun things!
The beautiful New Forest is only a short car journey away - a great place for walking and cycling.
High standard accommodation
One important reason people choose our Tango holidays is for the sense of close-knit community we achieve through small groups and a shared private house.
Choose from different room styles to suit your needs and budget.
Bedding, towels, hair dryers included. Access to garden, balcony with sea view, living room, kitchen, washing machine and more.
Meals
All meals are prepared for you at the house and are included in the price of the trip.
Detailed menus will be sent out closer to the time.
Breakfast: cereal, toast, eggs, fruit, yoghurts and more
Lunch: soup of the day, bread, side dishes
Dinner: hot meal, dessert and wine
Snacks: tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day
Our courses:
“When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.”
