Beginners

Our beginners' classes cover the fundamentals of Tango: the walk, embrace, pivots and basic sequences. The concepts you will learn in this class are the foundation of our dance practice so it is important to spend time on these and revisit them whenever possible. You do not need any previous experience to take this class; you will be guided from the start.

Improvers

3:45 - 4:45pm

Our Improvers class is a step up from Beginner level. In this class we apply the fundamentals of Tango to new and exciting sequences that will take your dance to a new level. Many students choose to take both classes (Beginner and Improver) one after the other as they complement each other well. A discount applies when taking both classes.

Milonga/Vals

4:45 - 4:45pm

This special class is all about exploring the other rhythms of Argentine Tango — Milonga and Tango Vals!

In this class, we’ll help you: - Understand the rhythmic differences between tango, milonga, and vals
- Develop musicality and connection suited to each style
- Learn characteristic movements, phrasing, and playful variations
- Build confidence dancing socially to a full tango tanda

Price:

£12 per class
£18 per two consecutive classes taken on the same day

Please note that classes do not run on bank holidays. Make sure to check the calendar in case of any cancellation!

Getting there:

Reading Central Train Station is a 20 min walk away from the venue. There are also regular buses running from the city centre.

There is a large on-site car park which is free to use.
